The SEC, in the final ruling regarding standards relating to Audit Committees, requires that CarLotz, Inc. provide a facility for the receipt, retention and treatment of complaints received regarding accounting, internal accounting controls or auditing matters.

Why should I report misconduct?

Unethical and illegal behavior or other misconduct can cause serious loss or harm to our Associates, customers, and Company. That is why it's everyone's responsibility to help prevent these activities. You make a difference!

If you suspect or see suspicious, unethical, illegal, or other misconduct, report it immediately. While speaking directly to a manager or supervisor usually represents the most effective way to report your concerns, our organization also offers an anonymous option to report misconduct. 

What are examples of problems or concerns that you should always report?

• Suspicious, unethical, and / or illegal activity
• Any violation of the Code of Business Conduct or CarLotz Policies
• Creating or ignoring safety hazards
• Discrimination, harassment, or retaliation
• Conflicts of interest
• Theft, fraud, or misuse of assets
• Disclosure of proprietary information
• Use or sale of illegal drugs
• Accounting or auditing irregularities
• Antitrust or competition violations
